Account deletion

Delete your DocSift AI account

DocSift AI does not use a sign-up form. It uses a device identifier, and where applicable an account identifier, for service access and restoring purchases, so deleting your account means deleting the service-side records tied to those identifiers.

Request deletion in the app

  1. Open DocSift AI and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Tap Send request. The request covers the account on that device, and the app shows Request received once we have it.

If your version of DocSift AI does not show Delete account in Settings yet, update the app or use email instead.

Or request deletion by email

  1. Email us at the address below with the subject Delete DocSift AI account data.
  2. Include the app name DocSift AI.
  3. If you can, include any device ID the app shows and an Apple or Google order ID for any purchase, so we can locate the right records.

When it happens

We aim to finish deleting eligible data within 30 days of receiving your request, whether you send it in the app or by email. Until then, your account keeps working.

What we delete

  • The device and account identifiers, with the purchase and entitlement records tied to them.
  • Recognized text you chose to send with Analyze with AI, and the results our service still holds for those identifiers, where we can reasonably locate them.
  • Product-interaction and diagnostic records tied to those identifiers.

Scanned page images are read on your device and are not sent to our servers for analysis, so there are no stored page images to delete.

Data on your device

Document images and saved scan records stay on your device. Delete them in DocSift AI, or uninstall the app, to remove them. This does not require a request to us.

What may be retained

Purchase, refund, tax, legal, fraud-prevention, or security records may be kept only for as long as required for those purposes. Apple and Google keep their own purchase history independently of us.

Cancel subscriptions separately

Requesting deletion does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop future charges, cancel it in the store where you subscribed.
